About Me
I’m Rohit Mishri, and my journey in technology began as an Oracle Database Administrator, where I built a strong foundation in database management, backup & recovery, performance tuning, and high availability systems.
Over the past 18+ years, I’ve evolved from a hands-on DBA into a Senior Engineering & Delivery Leader, Product Manager, and Cloud & AI Platform Architect, working with global organizations including Amazon and Oracle. My experience spans designing and operating large-scale, mission-critical platforms that power enterprise applications and data ecosystems.
My core expertise is deeply rooted in Oracle technologies, including Oracle Database, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and Oracle E-Business Suite (R12). I’ve worked extensively with engineered systems like Exadata and modern cloud platforms such as Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP/ADW), DBCS, and ExaCS.
A key highlight of my experience is leading SaaS Fusion Application data pipelines, where I’ve architected and delivered end-to-end data movement from mission-critical production systems into Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW). These platforms leverage Oracle GoldenGate and real-time streaming architectures to enable near real-time analytics and AI-driven insights, supporting enterprise decision-making at scale.
Beyond Oracle, I bring strong experience across multi-cloud platforms — OCI, AWS, Azure, and GCP — working with services such as Amazon Redshift, Amazon Connect, and distributed cloud-native systems. I specialize in cloud migrations, hybrid architectures, and building scalable, resilient data platforms.
Security has become a core pillar of my architecture approach. I actively integrate cybersecurity best practices into platform design, including data protection, encryption, identity & access management (IAM), network security, and secure-by-design cloud architectures. I’m continuously expanding my expertise in cloud security and cybersecurity frameworks, ensuring that systems are not only scalable and performant but also secure and compliant.
From leading ERP transformations and lift-and-shift migrations to building data platforms for AI and analytics, my work sits at the intersection of engineering, architecture, product thinking, and security. I’ve led end-to-end delivery — from design to execution and optimization — always focusing on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
I have a strong passion for High Availability (HA), disaster recovery, performance engineering, AI-driven platforms, and cybersecurity, and I enjoy solving complex challenges in large-scale production environments.
